The Nonstoppy For Best Board Game Review Site Goes To...

This week, we've given out Nonstoppies for Best Board Game Facebook Group, Best Board Game Blog, Best Board Game Podcast and Best Board Game Twitter Feed.

And with that the Nonstoppies come to their end. Until we're back to bug you next year. Today it's the big fish, the big kahuna, the colossus, the Best Board Game Review Site. We all have opinions; but these are the opinions that matter the most in our little world of Dice and Meeples.

Here they are. The nominees for Best Board Game Review Site:

The Dice Tower

The Tower of Dice. It's really a thing. We looked it up.

We love these guys. They are the titans of Tabletop Podcasts and YouTube videos. And yes, they don't technically do a ton of printed reviews, but between their videos, their blog, their top 10 and even 100 lists, it feels like they've got it covered. Maybe that's why they made such a strong showing in the voting without even having a review tab on their website.

Though their professional reviews haven't yet reached the prolific volumes of some of the other sites on the list, BoardGaming makes up for it with a review structure that we just can't get enough of. Clearly defined and succinct sections separated by headers and the quintessential "Who Would Enjoy This Game?" section with useful little icons make it easy to scan a game and size up what you're getting into.

Board Game Quest

Now we're talking prolific. These pros have reviewed a TON of games. We're especially fond of their "Buy, Optional or Pass" grading system. If you're curious about a game, Board Game Quest has reviewed it, and reviewed it well. Plus the most freaking awesome logo in the history of Tabletop Gaming Websites!

Nonstoppy Runner Up:

Board Game Geek

Geeks will inherit the earth. Or at least the Board Game section of the internet.

Here we are again with the 800-pound gorilla. They could have never reviewed a game themselves and still had more content than the rest of the TableTop review community combined. We've all fallen into this rabbit hole and woken up without our teeth brushed and our phone in our hand and strange recollections of reading about board games into the early hours of the night.

And The Nonstoppy For Best Board Game Review Site Goes To...

Shut Up & Sit Down

What they're lacking in manners, they make up for in awesomeness.

The best. These guys make board game reviews fun. Never overstaying their welcome, the brevity is appreciated and always leaves us wanting more. Plus, their wry sense of humor keeps us chuckling and reading and clicking links until way, way past our bed time. So stand up, get ready, and Shut Up & Sit Down for some Tabletop awesomeness. Nonstoppy winning awesomeness.
