The Nonstoppy For Best Board Game Podcast Goes To...

Behold, fellow Board Game Addicts, for we have another winner to announce. Marvel at the aural splendor of the Nonstoppy nominees and winner for The Best Board Game Podcast.

The Nominees:

Low Player Count

Screw you guys, I'm going home... to play board games by myself while listening to Low Player Count.

Screw you guys, I'm going home... to play board games by myself while listening to Low Player Count.

Great content overall, but spectacular for couples and singles looking for games to play on non-game nights. The weekly schedule is greatly appreciated and the topics are surprisingly varied for what could be such a narrow focus. Game Night? Nah, we'll go it alone with Low Player Count.

On Board Games

Are you more analytical than the average board gamer (and that's saying a lot)? On Board Games by Inverse Genius is the podcast for you. See things from the perspective of game scholars, industry veterans and professional reviewers. It's fascinating stuff. We love their Review-a-palooza concept, which keeps things moving and provides much-needed context in a (thankfully) crowded market.

Ludology

More analysis! Deeper analysis! It's almost like Stuff You Should Know for the Tabletop crowd. With subjects like The Physics of a Coin Toss and The History of Risk, you won't just geek out on board games; you'll learn a thing or two in the process.

Nonstoppy Runner Up:

The Secret Cabal Gaming Podcast

Shhhhh. It's a secret. But it really shouldn't be.

Shhhhh. It's a secret. But it really shouldn't be.

If Low Player Count is a Board Gaming Podcast for loners, then The Secret Cabal is the Podcast for Tabletop Social Butterflies (in relative terms, of course). You can feel the excitement, adventure, passion and Iggy Poppian Lust for Life oozing out of this podcast. It transcends the genre.

And The Nonstoppy For Best Board Game Podcast Goes To...

The Dice Tower

If one had to describe The Dice Tower Podcast in just one word, there's really no other choice than "prolific." These guys do content and they do it in droves. And they do it at a quality level most could only aspire to. And they make it look easy. The Dice Tower also has a phenomenally popular YouTube Channel, but we're greedy; we're taking them with us in the car.

Stay tuned for more Nonstoppy Award goodness as the week continues. Coming up are the Nonstoppies for Best Board Game Facebook Group and Best Board Game Review Website. See you tomorrow!
