I’m Josh Jenkins, and The Non-Stop Tabletop is my brainchild. I’m a life-long game enthusiast and this labor of love represents my effort to combine my passion for the tabletop gaming hobby with my experience in content production and web publishing.

Here, viewers will find session reports, reviews and other content related to board games, role playing games and miniatures battle games. Nonstoptabletop.com features extensive video content, but will also carry traditional articles and other tidbits.

This site was in many ways inspired by online predecessors such as The Dice Tower or Board Games With Scott — gaming sites that also offer multimedia content. However, it is not my goal to compete with those esteemed bastions of worthy content so much as complement them. While reviews will be a major component of nonstoptabletop.com, there’ll be an even heavier emphasis on simply revealing and reporting on the playing of games.

Time-Lapse videos of game sessions set to an engaging musical score are the hallmark of nonstoptabletop.com. While these segments have a basic, simple entertainment value, it is also my belief that users can tell much about a game by watching these condensed examples of play. Are the gamers enjoying themselves? How is the game flowing? What do the components and mechanics look like in action? How many pieces of pie did that dude eat while playing Fury of Dracula? How small is his bladder?

The other distinguishing factor of the site is the inclusion of Role Playing and Miniatures Battle Games. These represent my roots in the gaming hobby, as well as my fondest loves. For various reasons I seem to play more board games these days, but I still manage to carve out time for beloved games like Call of Cthulhu or Warmachine — and those experiences will be represented here as well.

You’ll see segments and reviews that I produce as well as the occasional piece by other members of my gaming circle. Coverage will not be limited to the most recent games to market, but various games we have experienced and find worthy of sharing with visitors to this site.

Virtually all content posted here will also be found in forum threads at boardgamegeek.com and other sites to make it more readily available to the community The Non-Stop Tabletop serves.

Games covered on this site are for the most part limited to my collection — elements of which were primarily bought by me through traditional channels.
